We are committed to providing our patients with the highest standard of eye care available. Our job is not only to ensure that your vision is at its best, but also to check the health of your eyes and consequently  your overall well-being.  

We have a   Digital Retinal Camera that allows us to capture digital images of the back of your eyes, the retina . These images give us a much more magnified and detailed view than was previously possible. The images are stored in our computer so that year on year we will build up a  library of digital images of your retinae.

Retinal screening can check for glaucoma, diabetic eye disease, cataract and age related macular degeneration.

Digital retinal imaging is not included in an NHS sight test so we recommend to all our patients that we take digital images of their eyes. There is a charge for this innovative service.

We also now have a digital  slit lamp camera so we can take and store images of the front of your eyes.
