Correct your vision while you sleep!

We are the 1st practice in Huddersfield to offer this service. Ortho-k lenses correct your vision while you sleep. Simply pop your ortho-k lenses in before bedtime, remove them in the morning, and wake up to a world of clear, sharp, natural vision without a lens!

How does EyeDream work?

EyeDream works by gently reshaping the front surface of the eye (the cornea) while you sleep.  The change is very slight but the result can be life changing.

EyeDream for Children

Ortho-k lenses (such as EyeDream) currently offer the most effective means of slowing Myopia (short-sightedness) in children.  This is called Myopia Control.

And because they are only worn at night and at home, EyeDream lenses offer children and parents many benefits:-

Myopia Control

Ortho-k lenses such as EyeDream, offer the children and parents the best opportunity to reduce or halt the progression of myopia.

Active Lifestyle

EyeDream offers children the freedom and confidence to swim, play sports and enjoy an active lifestyle without the restrictions of specs or contact lenses.

Peace of Mind

EyeDream lenses are worn at night and at home so lens wear & care can be monitored – And, no more lost specs and contacts!

Imagine vision correction that works while you sleep. Imagine waking up to clear and comfortable vision in the morning, without the need to wear glasses or contact lenses during the day. Well imagine no more.

Ortho-K lenses uses a tried-and-tested design to gently reshape the curvature of the eye overnight, creating a slighter flatter cornea. The cornea plays a key role creating a sharp optical focus. Upon waking, the slight change in corneal curvature is enough to create clear, sharp vision for the duration of the day.

The procedure is non-invasive, comfortable and safe and is only ever performed by a trained optician.
